About the stories
Who is it for?

Families, homeschoolers, classrooms — and any curious adult who never stopped loving a good story. The writing is built to be enjoyed across generations at once.

What ages does it suit?

It's written to be read aloud to children around age 8 and up, and genuinely interesting for grown-ups. Younger kids enjoy it as a read-aloud; older readers can take it on solo.

How long is each lesson?

Four to six pages — about a 15–20 minute read. Each comes with discussion questions if you'd like to go deeper.

Do the issues follow an order?

Yes — we move through history roughly in sequence, one civilization at a time, starting with Ancient Mesopotamia. You can also order back issues to catch up.

Subscription & billing
Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, in two clicks from your account. You keep every issue you've received plus your full digital archive.

When am I billed?

Monthly plans bill on your sign-up date each month. Annual plans bill once a year. Gift plans are prepaid and never renew.

Which issue do I start with?

New subscribers begin with Issue No. 001 — Ancient Mesopotamia — so you start at the beginning of the story.

Shipping & gifts
When does it arrive?

Issues ship at the start of each month and typically arrive within 3–7 days domestically. Your first issue ships within a week of signing up.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, worldwide. International shipping is calculated at checkout and delivery times vary by country.

Can I give it as a gift?

Absolutely. Gift plans come in 6- or 12-month terms with a printed gift card, a start date you choose, and no auto-renewal. Give a gift →
