How it works

One good story, every month — the slow way, on purpose.

No app to open, no notifications, no algorithm. Just a sealed envelope in your mailbox with an original history lesson worth reading aloud. Here is exactly what happens after you subscribe.

01

You choose a plan

Pick monthly, annual, or a gift term. Add your mailing address and you're done — the whole thing takes about two minutes. No commitment; cancel anytime from your account.

New subscribers start with Issue No. 001 — Ancient Mesopotamia, the beginning of the story.

Writing and printing each issue
02

We write & print it

Each issue is an original 4–6 page story researched and written by our team — warm, vivid, and a little funny. We design a timeline card and an artifact or map insert to match.

Then it's printed on heavy, uncoated paper meant to be handled, folded, and kept.

03

It arrives in your mailbox

A sealed, stamped envelope lands once a month. Read it at the kitchen table, take it on a trip, or use the discussion questions for school or family time.

Every issue is also saved to your digital archive, so you'll never lose one.
